The Royal Navy: Rising from the Depths - Page 172

He has i7 like updates. I mean come on he would be #3 in i7 and #1 in i7-2. Something is not right. Looking at his EOC numbers does not shed light on it because he is folding on more than one client with his folding name. Two updates I find off are #4 and #5 on Oct 27th. 13.7k and 17.5k. But the ones I scratch my head the most about are all of Oct 16th. Put up numbers on all updates and 22k on 7 and 11k on the 8. HOW?

There is one folder that does have nVidia points in his i7 updates. Niether he nor his team are in contention so its not a big deal other than it makes him look silly.

Apparently the issue is not going to be dealt with. I PM'd BWG my concern and got nothing back. He did post here which was pretty much a brush off. Another thread that was opened by someone else was closed rather quickly. It appears that its just gonna be swept under the rug.

I dont usually point fingers, but I have been suspicious of Swag for a few weeks as he has 300k points over me (and 500k over other cat 3ers) and is running the same overclock and processor as me but is using windows 7 and not native. At first I was just thinking he was getting lucky with units, till i saw todays updates and something caught my eye. Im on my tablet so i cant take a screen shot, but Look at his October 30ths #4 and #5 update http://tc.folding.net/index.php?p=team&team=Slammers&interval=updates&year=&month=&history= 20k points in a 3 hour span is impossibe on a 3570k even with nothing but the high ppd units. At most youd get 12-13k by finishing 2 700x, 701x, or 702x in a row, and theres other inconsistancies like that throughout the month. Something just doesnt seem right at all.

I've been on the "good" sever for close 2 weeks now, but on average i dont get the 55-75k ppd units more the 3 or 4 times in a row and maybe once or twice I've had 6 in a row. I usually get a 12 hour 25-30k ppd unit followed by a run of the 55k+ units and have so far averaged 33k ppd for the entire month

And I could be wrong about him, but it just doesnt add up with what equipment hes running

Spread the word. Just as I dealt with several complaints about elchucko, I've been dealing with Swag for 3 weeks now. Everything so far indicates no foul play just as it did when I investigated elchucko. I don't sweep anything under the rug. This contest has a prizing system. I must insure the integrity of the prizing system is protected. That's my duty to you guys. I caught his points increase far before any complaints were made. I opened a points audit, collected folding logs, work unit history viewer screen shot of work units dropped, and so far it's simply a very lucky string of work unit assignments as far as I can see. He's stuck on the high PPD server just as elchucko was, and as you see with elchucko, the connection breaks off at some point, and the PPD looks normal again. It's still an open investigation, but it's nearly a closed case at this point.

I don't like placing honest folders into a position in TC where there are mass accusations flying around, so I closed langer1972's thread and PM'd him about it. Swag has been very cooperative. His good fortune won't last forever though. Hopefully one of you may have such fortune in the future and not be plagued with speculations wink.gif

So he is lucky enough to reach and exceed a 3770K by 30% (Same Frequency) ??? Or he just fownd that his 3570K have an Identical twin biggrin.gif

I'm not gonna be a crying baby, I just want to make sure (Just as you want to) that It's fair and square, I didn't waste $ 361 on a 3770k to be beaten by a 3570k.

As you've explained that it's a lucky server (I've been folding for a year now, never been lucky) I've no further complains, but i'll stay suspicious.

By the way, Seems that OCTDBADBRO is a lucky guy too !!!

Fair enough BWG. Like mentioned above, I just want to make sure thats everything is on the up and up. This is my 2nd year in the TC. I have never seen this situation before and thats why I have been so forward. My intention was not to anger the almighty Folding Editor, but to ensure the rules put forward were being followed. I am glad that he has managed to get so fortunate with the server. However, as Khaled, I will stay observant. If his luck seems to be ongoing for an extended length of time I will be sure to speak up again.

You have never seen the stats page?

http://tc.folding.net/index.php?p=leaderboard

Go to teams, click a team, go to bottom of the daily list and click switch to updates. That will give you update by update points. You can see your rank in your class and division by clicking the catagoties tab.

BTW...Join up with Team Viking for the FFW. See my sig for the link. Sorry for the shameless plug.
