Ok, well I got a nice 950/1900 overclock going here and it seems to be stable. I'm going to bed. thumb.gif

That is a possibility with the advanced WUs, one of which you folded there, they are more prone to show unstable OC than regular ones. Decreasing clocks by a couple of MHz or upping voltage should fix things. I had to lower my 560Ti from 1000MHz to 980MHz (didn't really do any testing between 980 and 1000 to be honest, I just went with 980) when I switched to advanced WUs, still nets me ~1k higher PPD.

To get out of the "Pausing 24 hours", stop the client, delete the queue.dat, fahlog.txt and the work folder from your FAH folder and start it again.

hmmm.....I don't know exactly which folder you mean. But, I think it's back to folding and I dialed it down a bit and added voltage.

edit: it is NOT working. I don't know where this stuff is you say I should delete. sad-smiley-002.gif

If you have the systray version, these files should be located at: %appdata%\Folding@home-gpu

well, I restarted it again. hopefully that will do it because I have to run. the wife is dragging me out the door. I'll get it fixed later tonight I suppose if that didnt do it. I turned the OC way down.

update: everything is running fine. there aren't a lot of total points to average at this point, but my ppd on gpu3 client is not at all what I expected. FAH Tracker is listing it at 9,800ish. I am folding SMP as well, but only using 7 cores to leave one for the gpu. Is this dragging my gpu ppd way down ? Because the team comes first here.

My team rig is back together. I'm doing some testing now, so I should be ready to join back in on the 1st. We'll crush Div two next month and back to near the top of div one after that.
Eric, I know you have been feeling a bit like Francesco Schettino, just hang in there!

Thats great! It will be awesome to be back to having everyone back up and running. I know we can be ranked in the top contenders.

I will never abandon this ship. Even though I did not start the team myself I am 100% dedicated to its survival.

I'm really thinking something is configured wrong. My 580 is making about half of the ppd I expected. I'm in the 9xxx range. mad.gif

I rolled back drivers to 266.58. Supposedly these are the best for folding on a 580. Reset everything to stock. Hopefully that will take care of it. I'm off to bed.
