Any comments or suggestions.
I would have suggested a 6600, that 9600pro wont do much good.... it is outdated... I would return it to newegg and buy a 6600.... I have one for sale, by the way. My setup had more than 10k overclocked.... it was:
AMD Athlon XP 2000+
768MB Rosewill RAM
PNY Verto GeForce 6600 256MB
You should get higher than that, even with a 6200....
That's my suggestion.

I can vouch for the 6600, i just bought a refurb off newegg (asus 256mb) and it runs AA at max settings just fine! It is more than powerful enough to be useful for a while, nothing spectacular, but for $75 I can't complain!

It'll get upgraded a few months down the road when more money rolls in. For right now though it's what I need and much more. The fact that I can boot in about a minute is a small miracle compared to my 4 year old laptop that literally takes a few minutes before its useful and can hardly play AVI files.
