Thread Starter
Well I know they are good sticks but there's been a lot of questions on these RAM sticks not working well with the Asus A8N series boards. The board of choice is a DFI but I knew it wasn't my mobo that was the problem but the RAM sticks itself

I'm just glad to get them up that high

We are all here to help everyone.

gator, do you have most of the same options in your BIOS as I have in mine...try these settings.

CAS: 3
Trcd: 4
Tras: 8
Trp: 4 or 3
Trc: 7
Trfc: 13-18 (whichever is best for your system)
Trrd: 2
Ter: 2
Twtr: 1 or 2
Trwt: 2 or 3
Tref: 3684
twcl: 1

try that at 1T and at 2T

So i just tested a stick.

at 250 3-4-4-8 It does NOT pass prime, but it DOES pass memtest.
CPU was at 2.5 gigs, 10x multi.

What to do !$>@<

if your cpu is stable at 2.5Ghz then your problem is the command rate.

for over 240Mhz you need to run your RAM at 2T instead of 1T
