You guys laugh at all the buttons on the mouse now. But think about it, this whole time your thumb is doing nothing while you game. I use a naga for FPS and buttons 1-5 are all used for swapping, equipment and other stuff. Makes it so I can use my other hand strictly for movement or talking.

Honestly now that I've used one with lots of buttons on the side, I can't use anything else. I'll probably get this next because I'd like a wireless mouse.

Ok, I have the G500, and as far as looks are concerned, its not bad, but does not compare to the G500.

As for the buttons, WHY??? Oh wait i know why, they took off 12 progrmmable buttons from the G15 and slapped them on here

I have the MS Sidewinder X6 KB and that has like 30 programmable buttons, so i only need the basic buttons on the mouse. to have 12 for me is just overkill. I know some have said that your thumb does nothing during gaming, but if it were doing something, id just mess up your aiming if you try to push a button, id much rather compramise my movement slighty to push a macro than my aim.

Just my 2c worth, Its a bit of a stupid mouse IMO.

wow if you watch the video IT SAYS THIS MOUSE IS MEANT FOR MMO PLAYERS. LIKE WOW AND AION. so watch the vid before you complain about buttons and why it has so many.

Does not hold a candle to the Performance Mouse MX IMO. I have this and its by far the best mouse I have ever used. I came from a MX518
