Would an upgrade right now, be worth my while?

Right now, I have the computer in my specs, nothing else.

I was going to get an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ along with some G.Skill Extreme Series F1-3200USU2 in a Gigabyte K8U-939 ULi. My concern is, I'll still be using my Radeon 9600 SE so I was wondering if there would be a significant performance boost in games such as World of Warcraft despite the fact my video card would be bottlenecking quite a bit. I won't be getting any more money until June unless I get a job by then, so what do you think?

Should I just wait until June to get more money and get a complete build with a decent video card or should I just go with what I'm doing and get the parts?

In my opinion you will see 0% performance increase in games using the same video card with that new hardware. That's just me though. You should see a big boost in other apps though such as video encoding.

wow isnt all that gpu dependant, I played for over a year and the ram was what made the real diifference. I If you are having probs then try a ram upgrade you can use in your new system and see how much it helps you out. I quit wow an hour after we took neffy down, cold turkey hehe.

By June I should have about $1000 CAD, so yeah, I might aswell just save up and get a half decent rig then.
