hahaha!!

well The main reason is that I've enrolled in evga's step up program back in november.. and I decided to start putting the WC blocks on.. never thought it'd take up to last monday to complete the waiting queue!!

funny that you've posted, I'm actually working on it! I just finished assembling the dual pumps, sleeving the cables and getting them 3pin connectors to put on my controllers! I was actually searching for my thread in pages 3-4-5 wondering where the hell it went lol!

halfway through

done!

I'll admit I went overboard with the customization I wanted to do, but I'll make it! even though there's a lot of money in this build there's a couple of things I've never done yet, such as drilling the case for fillport, and drilling other holes for mounting the res.. it'll be fun

hey guys, got a smallish update here!

by the way, I'd like to ask you all to forgive my crappy pics..yeah, it's from my cellphone and no, I don't have a proper camera..

I know I know i have this humoungous pile of cash called a pc and don't have a camera. Well let's just say thOH LOOK PICTURES!!

''..okay Cyclonicks soo what have you done here??''

well since last time, I got some shin etsu that I needed for my second video card and managed to find out that I ordered the wrong EK bridge so I'm waiting for the triple bridge.. I figured ''HUR DURR I GOTS TWO CARDZ I NEED TEH DOUBLE BRIDGEZ'' silly me lol..

You can see that I finally drilled my case for the fill port and to mount the reservoir.. I'm waiting for new ice caps with a more appropriate color from frozenq..

I've painted the brackets black with high temp engine paint. Figured it would be more resistant.. I also got some aluminum mounts for the pumps to dampen them.. painted that black too, it's cooling off right now. how you like them supports I made?

I'm thinking about adding some other stuff but worst case scenario I'll do it later on.. I've got a friend that's harrasing me to get back on starcraft 2 haha

I've also upgraded the 800D with the sata 6g plate for the quick swap bay.. and let me tell you that it's WAY BETTER than the original.. only 1 sata power plug instead of 4.. that's pure awesomeness.. less clutter there (even if it's hidden)

tonight I'm trying to find the power adapter for my inverter.. I really don't know where it is haha

I've got the front panel upgrade too so I'll be sleeving that soon.

I think that sums it up.. yeah I know, super slow process.. I can't wait to finish it but sadly, real work takes a lot of my time buuuuut you gotta pay to play right?!!?

On an inverter... I had one but can't find the power plug that goes with it so I recently ordered another one..

Cyclonicks, so I'm glad that I tripped over this thread, because I was *this* close to ordering SR1 140s for my 800D!

The 140 on the top/back of the case is pretty darn close to the first card slot. Is that what uglied the deal? Did you try mounting the rad on the outside of the case with the fan on the inside? That *should* have worked, but maybe the plumbing then turned you off?

Did you get any other rad to work there? Details, details!

P.S. Did you also try an SR1 140 in the bottom of the case?

well you'll be even glader..gladier.. you'll be happy that I responded!!!

it's not a 140 on the top/back, it's a black ice 120 GT stealth

a 140mm SR1 rad is way to big to fit there.. you'll hit the ''top of your backpanel's plugs.. and that's without even starting to think about tubing... the holes don't align too well to bolt it there.. maybe with a fan behind.. but it's getting a bit too fat.. -EDIT- I've just read your post thouroughly lol, I didn't want to put anything outside of the case.. wanted to keep it as OEM as can be.. and as least ''outside'' of it as possible.. I had a hard time deciding to drill the fill port and the two holes required to mount the frozenq res adequatly lol

in this picture you can see in the bottom an actual SR1 140 that will be used there.. compare it to the gts120 installed.. yeah.. don't be like me and not have enough rep to sell your second SR1 140 yet lol

oh and about the bottom 140, it fits but I'm pretty sure it would be too cramped up with all the wires, so that's why I'm planning to open up my hx1000 while sleeving and make the 24pins connector wires go out to the ''back'' of the case..

I'm starting to find my 800D to be kinda small lol
