Wtf? Cutting out?

Thread Starter
Ok heres the problem.

I started my PC up, and begun playing Doom 3. (Graphics card is Radeon X800GT GameFX series).
Then suddenly the monitor went fuzzy and the graphics went all haywire across the screen. (I havent overclocked or nothing).
So it stays like that, and I cant do anything else, So I restart, and then now when my PC starts up, nothing comes up, and I can still hear the Windows song in the background as it starts up.
When BIOS comes up and everything, it all comes up on the screen, but when it cuts to the OS, my monitor goes off, and it gets No signal.
Ive tried taking the card out and putting it back in. And Ive tried pushing all the cords in properly.

PLEASE HELP.

try booting up in safe mode. Manages usually to boot up then normally and you can tinker with settings until you fix it.

Well have you checked the Temps of your G-card also it may be a power supply problem and your card may not be getting enough power..im also hoping that the extra power connector at the back of the G-card is also connected to the Power supply.

thats a darn good question.. whenever my mobo detects that im having bootup probs like that it gives me the option to go in safe mode. But there must be a manual way, isnt there like a bootup settings area externally by the bios in the bootup thing?

Yeah when your booting up tap F8 a few times that should bring up a menu so you can go into safemode.
