I'll reapply AS5 and reseat the heatsink. Just a pea sized dot in the middle and don't spread it out right? I also saw in another thread that someone else's need to be tightened down more. They said they needed to really tighten the hell out of it and they got results. Mine is tightened, it feels very sturdy to me but I guess I could squeeze out a few more turns of the screws. I am just concerned about tightening it too much and damaging the board. Also AS5 takes about 200 hrs to cure? So I should see a gradual decline in temps, maybe I need to be more patient. LOL

The best way to apply AS5 on a CPU with a heatsink is to put a small dot of AS5 in the center; the weight of the BT will spread it around. When I fist installed my BT I tighten it so much that my PC wouldn't enven start. The best way is to tighten the nuts until they start touching the "H" bracket and give the screws a couple more turns. You shouldn't bend the H bracket, that will be too tight. The bracket should be "even" on both sides. Just make sure when you lift the heatsink it keeps making contact with the CPU.

I get about 34-38 IDLE and about 45 max on load. It was a lot lower when i first got it. It used to be about 30 idle and about 40 load. Maybe it needs more as5.
