I hit about 20-22c idle at stock speeds with the new AMD heatpipe stock HSF. that thing is pretty good in itself. but those look like nice temps there. I've thought about getting a BT, but the new HSF from AMD seems to kick butt also, don't know if it would justify the gain.

Your talking about the Big Typhoon heatsink right? I was looking into buying it but some people were saying that if you tighten it down to hard using the pad that goes on the back of the mobo you can short out the mobo. Any tips on avoiding this.

I don't see what the fuss about them is, I tried one, and found that the gigabyte g-power was a better performer, so now I use g-power. A bit noisy yes, but I don't care about noise.
