What components use the 5v rail?

Thread Starter
I'm looking at getting a new PSU to facilitate for further upgrades down the road. I was looking at the Antec NeoHE's and saw that the 5v rail is almost half of my Cooler Master. Is that 5v rail really that important? I've read that some boards won't function properly without a solid 5v. Any help is appreciated.

I meant components. It's getting late.

I think a lot of components draw off mutliple rails. Depends alot on CPU and Board I think... besides that I know USB devices are highly dependent on 5v. Also, CD-RW/DVD, HDD, Sound cards, and Graphics cards will draw off 12v and 5v... again it depends on the individual devices. Usually, if you look up specs on manufacturer websites, you can get a pretty good idea for what some components will draw from...

Of course, OCing will increase the draw on you PSU.
