ASUS VH202 Actually 1920x1080/75Hz?

Based on CCC it says my screen is actually rated for 1920x1080 with 75Hz. Any idea how to bypass Windows and force it to these settings?

Cheers. Just something interesting to try out and see if possible.

You need a dual link DVI cable to do that. Pics up in a moment.

Alright, but the screen is only rated (like on the box) for 60Hz 1600x900. Any ideas? I think the cable is dual linked.

Well try choosing 75 Hz from the CCC settings. If that doesn't work, IDK how to help. Also: It might support 75Hz on a lower resolution. Try something lower.

I was able to set it to 1980x1080 but it is clear that the screen actually doesn't have enough pixils to accurately display it. Thanks for the help tho.

Also, it won't let me select custom refresh rates.

I will likely run 75hz at a lower refresh rate. My old Acer 20" 1680x1050 monitor would run 75hz, but only at 1440x900. There are very very few LCD's that will run 75hz at their native resolution, most are older models.

Also, unless you specifically bought a Dual-link DVI cable it's unlikely you have one.
