Bump.

This worked for me! I just bought a second GTX 670 for SLI only to be greeted by these red flickering lines in any full screen game. I was Google-ing like crazy trying to find out what was going on to no avail. I finally found this thread. It turns out the cheap flexible SLI connector that came with my ASUS Sabertooth Z77 sucks. I adjusted it with a benchmark running and the red flickering lines went away. It seems that the SLI connector goes on to the card too far. When I pulled it out from one of the cards a little bit, the lines went away.

This worked out perfect for me, thank you smile.gif! I bought a new sound card and when I had installed it, I had changed the place the SLI bridge was set up in. I tried it in another position and it solved the problem.

This didn't fix the problem for me unfortunately. Could it be because one of my PCI-e slots is 16x and the other two are 8x? I have just bought a new solid SLI bridge and no matter what I do to the bridge while the game is going, I still get that annoying horizontal blue flicker. I don't even want to play a game with it going on and I usually resort to windowed mode, but since I want to get accurate benchmark scores for my GPUs to compare to others I can't because it goes all blue screen on me. So what do you have to do exactly to get this method to work? Like the other guy with the problem I use my TV for a monitor with an HDMI cable. I know he said the problems occurred when he switch to Monitor but I think the similarities are too close to ignore.

PLEASE HELP!!

It's most likely not related. Try making a new thread smile.gif

Thank you very very much !! Because of this flickering problem, I've changed my old 300W power supply to a new 500W one. Then I found it still flickering and It made me very sad! I spend all the day to adjust driver graphics option but nothing can help. Thanks again! You save my time and heal my headache !
But here is the question, why only fullscreen flickers but not windowed? I am interested in it !

Windowed does not use SLI. You need to run in fullscreen to be able to use SLI/CF.

Wow, something simple actually worked for once!

Yesterday I was in the middle of a game, and right after a level loaded, the screen kept shimmering a pink color over the whole scene. Thinking the driver hit a bug or whatever, I rebooted later and the problem was still there, in every game too. I found disabling SLI fixed it, so I thought the other card went a little bad.

Glad I decided to search about it today, finding this thread. I reseated the SLI connector cable, and voila! I never suspected it could be that, but I guess the change of weather here must have affected the connectors. lol
