Antec P180 Fan Installation

Thread Starter
I'm trying to install the front 120mm fan to suck cool air in. I can't quite figure out how to do it. It looks like maybe the bracket that is there has to come out before you can put a fan in, but I can't figure out how to get it out. Can anyone with this case help me out?

I don't remember exactly how I put it in. But, I do think that bracket has to come out and you attach it to that then the bracket mounts to the case with some clips. I had to remove the drive bay cage for the fans I used because they were so thick.

I also had a problem with this. I removed the bracket (I think it screws in??) and tried attaching the fan to it and then re-inserting it, but the hd cage gets in the way unless you remove it. I couldn't do that because the way my cable management is set up you can't remove it (cables are stuck to the back side with adhesive hook holding them and stuff) so I just put the fan in without any bracket and it works fine. I actually removed that fan and now have it over my gpus instead, I feel it offers a better performance versus as an intake.

To install the front fan, you must first remove the hdd cage, then, pull the plastic fan mount twords you (just like you pulled out the hdd cage). It should pop out. There are 4 plastic clips holding it in, but they will release simply by pulling it. Once you get it out, screw the fan to it, the slide it back in (you will see how once it is out).
