If you're gonna get a 820, a bit more gets you a 920 and its truely worth it. 9xx series overclock like mad.
Not bad at all...

i only have like 900 Canadian to spend on a whole CPU including Case, Motherboard, Vid Card, Ram, PSU, Cooling. Vid card scratchs out 300 flat already which leaves 600 for the rest

Go with the sandiego 3700, you will get great great performance and like kevinstoi says, once gaming moves to multi-threads, you will be able to get an FX-60 or an X2 5000(when it comes out) since you wont need to upgrade for at least two years, by then, either intel will have "temporarily" dominated the market with their conroe and AMD prices would drop "OR" AMD will come out with their next generation and, well, prices would drop for the X2 and the FX-60.

I chose the X2 3800 because my old XP2800 broke down and I bough the x2 3800 on ebay, it went for around the same price as the sandiego, so i figured no use in getting the sandy if im going to get a dual core later anyways right? and for the same price....

Here is a screen shot of my 920 on water(It can run superpi at a max of 4.9Ghz, but is it not dual prime95 stable) ! This beats an overclocked FX60!

The C0 revision (coming April) will make the Preslers more effiencent than the AMD dual cores. Anandtech tested the 965EE (3.73Ghz) and it has a idle temp 10C lower than the 955EE and a load temp 8C lower!
