Replacing my WWII rig! Need input with my new build. - Page 3

Nice set up, read some really positive reviews about that CPU, but then again some not so positive... Maybe go i5 760? That thing is sweet and will overclock brilliantly.

And maybe think about another case, my friend recently got this. Don't be put off by the brand, its a decent little thing.

http://www.overclock.net/intel-build...l#post10365330
In his sig he has AMD 266Mhz... then he says in his sig... "My E2200 Running at 3.52 Ghz!" I asked him about the sig if its for real ... no reply.. so it's a BLUFF.. I'm the only one here with this antique...

If I can't get the I7-875K for a good price I'll take this i5-760 instead of the i5-750 i thought of...

You may have patience now, but when you are sitting on a rig as expensive as yours, and you are running and IDE, you will rage.
I slept on it over at night and I think you are right. I'm going to get myself a new 1TB SATA... not logical that my old IDE's ruin my experience with the new rig..

I'm going to read some reviews when I get home later today... I'm on work now..

I think I'm going to go with this one:
Western Digital Caviar Black 1000GB WD1002FAEX

now I'm only left with finding a fan controller.
