Video playback "pulses" every second

Thread Starter
Hi all, forgive my basic question. I need to solve it before going on to O/C. Flight Sim 2004 graphics look great but the scenery jerks every second. I have the same problem running DirectX Diagnostics - I see the spinning cube and the bouncing box etc but it jerks once per second as well. I did a BIOS update and this happened after that, so I guess it will be a BIOS setting, but which one? I have an MSI K8N SLi mobo; AMD Athlon +3200 and an MSI Geforce 6600GT PCIe card plus 1 GIG of RAM. Thanks for your time. please tell me if I should be using a different forum. AndyH

Its most likely not a bios issue but more likely Video card driver issue Please update your Video card and chipset drivers to see if this helps.

Nvidia latest drivers for XP and 2000: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_84.21.html
