Different BIOS

Thread Starter
ok is it possible
to overwrite the bios of MY mobo, which is crap
with a BIOS of another manufacturer
cuz my OC is limited to 232 max FSB

would I need to match up the chipsets?
and need to have the same I/O?

or does anyone know a program than can create a bios based on what you need? like one that you say my mobo has x,y,z, etc and it write a .bin file...

or a binary translation program? because I cant find one for windows

NO YOU MUST NOT DO THAT OR YOU WILL KILL YOUR MOTHERBOARD. You have to get a new updated bios for your Specific motherboard from the manufacturers main website.

No sorry you must have bios's provided by the manufacturer only there are no third party bioses..You can get modded ones but they are dangerous and can render your system nice and useless.

By the way heres your Manfacturers site which you may already know : http://www.foxconnchannel.com/produc...otherboard.cfm

Well if you wish to Eliminate your MOTHERBOARD FOR FUN GO AHEAD, but you could just sell it and make some money.
