Hi everyone.

This are my questions:

I have a Pentium D 830 and i bought this cooling fan, is this good for this CPU ??.

Here a pic:

I have a Spectra Cool as a thermal paste, i read that is good for high temp, anyone used it before and want to share his comments??

Thanks you guys.

Well seeing as how this is a 6 heatpipe tower design I would say it is very good but the fan CFM ratings are what matter after that. 40CFM minimum for excellent cooling. But nonetheless much better than stock. Also I've never heard of Spectra Cool thermal paste but I would reccomend getting some Arctic Silver 5. It is the best thermal paste available.

Hi.

Here some tech data about it:

Code:
Heat Sink: 104 x 58 x 126.5 mm
Fan: 107 x 43.5 x 96 mm
Overall Dimensions: 107 x 96.5 x 126.5 mm
Rated Fan Speed: 300 - 2500 RPM (PWM)
Power Consumption: 0.16 Amp.
Air Flow: 45 CFM / 77 m3/h
Weight: 520 g
Noise Level: 0.9 Sone
Thermal Resistance: 0.17°C/Watt
Thermal Interface Material: Pre-applied ARCTIC MX-1 Paste
What about 45 CFM ?? is good enough ??.

Thank you for the tip about Arctic Silver 5.

Thanks.

You'll like the Freezer 7, I have one on my 950 and love it.

The aspect I like the most about it is works great in conjunction with a traditionaly mounted exhaust fan on the back of the case. It's not terribly loud, although with all the other fans in my case it really wouldn't matter if it was or not.

Only tip I'd give you is be slow when you mount it, the HS likes to twist when you are pushing in the clips to the motherboard. Other than it's a snap.

Hi.
I received 2 days ago and very nice fan, running OC 3.75 and the temp under 50*C, between 45-48*C full loaded ( with prime95 and SP 2004 ) and 32-35*C running normally.

Thanks bro.
