wire management

Thread Starter
Well, I am supposed to get a mobo on wendsday and I look forward to puttion my compy back together. This time I want to make it look neat so that you can see inside of it and I can actually get to the darn cmos jumper. I have read the wire management guides ect, inwhich there is some good info. However, I was wondering if anyone had some pics of the back sides of their mobo trays or any other pics showing how they hid wires. Or any hints as to how and make it look good. I am not going to be anal about hiding every last wire, but I want it to look better than it did.

Thanks,
D&C

Here's some pics. To be fair, I didn't do it myself, but Monarch did an amazing job. Just by looking I pretty much now know exactly what to do.

First time I ever was asked to show the other side of the mobo...lol

These shots are from the air-cooled first version of my rig--I subsequently got really anal and tooked everything more out of site and used far fewer wire ties.

After watercoling I went even further to tuck them behind the mobo tray

But I accomplished my goal of getting good air flow--temps did drop a few C after the sheathing and all.

I think he wanted pics of the reverse side of your motherboard if you were hiding wires behind there. Like, if you slipped wires behind the motherboard tray in between the tray and the side panel as a means of hiding cables. Hope that clears things up.
