Weird but intresting card

My friends computer recently died.(Motherboard exploded) luckily the proccessor(3800 x2) came out unharmed..
But the graphics card didn't survive (x300)

So we where looking for a cheap way to find the same kind of power or better...

I went to Fry's( a beautiful store) and found this graphics card

A leadtech 7300 gs 128mb ....for 99.99
The chipset and everything are Nvidia so i was sure we'll try this

The weirdest thing about this card is the onboard memory on the box it says 128 but supports 256....On the back the requirment's for the 256 support is atleast 512 ram??? Doesn't make much sense to me but ok i tried it... Well looking through the manual it turns out if you have a gig it jumps up to 512 support??

Does anyone have this card and know of any problems??

We put it in fired it up no problems whatsoever.. It even comes with it's own overclocking programs/utility tools...and the best thing is the specs

DDR2

on the utility for overclocking it has two things...I'm a noob at Graphics cards... It has 500mhz ( i think it's mhz) and 810 mhz?? does this make sense if it doesnt i'll edit

It played BF2 like a champ alittle below medium settings which my card can't do!(stock)

i guess what i'm asking is this a good card, or reliable??

That's called Turbocache and its a horrible technology IMO, it uses some of your system RAM for the graphics card but thats fine if you have over a gig of RAM. Other than that the 7300GS is a fine card but its pretty low end, I wouldn't be gaming on that if I were you/your friend.

EDIT/// 500Mhz is the core and 810 should be the memory clock, its probably a DDR reading so its actually 405Mhz.

EDIT//// I just checked on newegg and all their 7300GS' are clocked at 550/810, are you sure the core wasn't 550?
