I stopped reading Metacritic User reviews long ago...
even Metacritic staff has removed lots of "rule violating comments" by people making new accounts JUST to give a 0 to something...

really, ignoring 90% of the 0s and 1s it's pretty good... people complain because they think it's cool... but they ALL come around to the same old stupid dumb reasons that doesn't even matter to me... I prefer to judge everything myself, and most of the times I can overlook a lot of the negative points...

too many people nowadays seem to think the world revolves around them, and if ANYTHING is in the slightest way NOT what they want, it's a 0/10... seriously!?

I've said this countless times before, but I still end up coming back... I seriously need to step away from this place called internet discussion... it's wasting my time with pointless banter and complaint and hate that's not helping me at all... I'll just pull the plug and enjoy things as they are

OH how I wish I have more time to play!!! mrawr

PS: about 5 hours in now... just got Jarvik (sp?) from Eden Prime (on Hardened difficulty) and was exploring star systems before doing the Turian Patriarch Rescue mission... and am heading to this "cerberus lab"... where I went to sleep again...
I'm really taking my time... but it seems all I do is so little compared to what's left to be done...

finally figured out the new exploration system and how to escape the reapers etc... died a few times though >.>

PPS: I guess reading about all the "disappointment" in the ending is a good thing... as when I get there, my expectation would be at rock bottom, so it'll DEFINITELY be at least somewhat better than the worst case scenario (I'm not reading what it is yet)

Does the Overlord DLC from ME2 add anything to the game? I'm just finishing off a perfect run of ME2 to import but i don't want to spend money on DLC for the hell of it.

There seems to be an extra scene where you see the N7 chest plate in a pre-rendered cut scene take a breath. The files are called End03_Shepard_Alive_Fem/Male. Aside from that, nothing extra in the endings department.
It would appear they might have more planned. To be honest though, this is probably the only time I'd condone DLC. If they added a better ending, I'd be fine with it. This game was actually rather great aside from the finale. The journey was amazing but the destination was a let down. I just wish they would have kept the original in tact.

Bioware basically disregarded all the player decisions in the series with those 3 ending.

Shepard worked to save the galaxy as s/he knows it, the destruction of relay network is basically making the galaxy worse. the current pre-reaper invasion society was built with the relays as the basis. destroying it is, imo, worse than the reaper invasion.

Plus where's my blue kids? biggrin.gif

Well Bioware did say it would be a good idea to keep your saved games even after beating the game. I will withhold my judgment on the games ending until I see it for myself.

Thanks to everyone using the SPOILER tags!!

A little extra, yes. I hated playing through it again but I'd say it was worth it. It's mentioned when you meet up with Jack and when you encounter Legion.

I completely agree. They isolated everyone in the Sol cluster which was completely counter productive to the theme in ME3. You sent the galaxy spiraling into a possible, if not probable dark age. As I said earlier, I'd be FINE if Shepard died. However, they completely destroyed galactic civilization in a Deus Ex type manner.

I hope they rectify it...

Anyone who thinks the 0-1 ratings at all sites are just some Internet heroes getting their panties in a bunch should finish the game and get the current "best possible ending" and you will release what kind of move bioware pulled.

The entire game up to the ending was awesome. The ending was medoicre at best, heck even the coop is good.

Can anyone who owns the PC version confirm or deny Xbox 360 controller support?

My brother has it on 360 but I would love to play on my PC, but only with native controller support...

Thanks OCN
