I completely agree. They isolated everyone in the Sol cluster which was completely counter productive to the theme in ME3. You sent the galaxy spiraling into a possible, if not probable dark age. As I said earlier, I'd be FINE if Shepard died. However, they completely destroyed galactic civilization in a Deus Ex type manner.
I hope they rectify it...
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Not really. In the sol system you have the remains of about a dozen different fleets and the Citadel, the reapers are under Shepard's control (unknown if Shepard can communicate via them, though he should be able to help all the bases they're at via the reaper forces) and can be studied by the survivors (Seriously, you have the Quarians, Salarians AND the Geth to provide research... they'll work something out). You've still got FTL travel, so other solar systems in the immediate area are accessible. If anything, the destruction of the Mass Relays will force the greatest collaborative effort by the remains of the Galactic Fleet ever seen, far beyond what was required to beat the Reapers.

Also, Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
To the one who said the two that come to Earth with you die, that is not true. I took Garrus and Jarvik, and when Joker crash landed he, Liara (my romance, giggity), and Jarvik stepped off the ship. It's the same as ME2, if you do EVERYTHING they need, they'll survive.

The more I've thought about the ending, especially knowing that I came short of the best endings, the more I agree with it.

Actually, Shepard ends up with a bridge dropped on him no matter what. Happens in all 3 endings, whether Earth and Anderson live or die. You need 4,000+ readiness points in order to get him to survive after the credits, and you need to save Anderson if you have less than 5,000.

Yup that just makes it worst, you don't expect it, the tension is rising you get more pulled in by the plot. It's like they created 95% of the game and said "Feeling lazy can we call it done, everyone will still buy it, and we can put proper ending for 20$ when we sober up"

Manly tears were shed here at the end of this one. My Paragon/Renegade wasn't high enough. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Legion was one of my favorite ME2 characters. I hated having to lose him but I romanced Tali...

The Citadel kinda blew up though didn't it no matter the ending?

Actually though, I'd be more okay with the ending if it didn't come out of nowhere. None of it added up.

So, one bad point. Now, assuming you start at 10 and work your way down for bad points, that would at worst make it a 7 or 8. Why is a bad ending worth a 0? The problem with reviews in general these days is that people will give out a 10 for a game that sucks a big one in every respect, so long as it has an addictive and fun part (Eg. CoD) but give a game that is overall pretty good, with one small, bad aspect of it an extremely low score.

Not to mention the hate perpetrated by /v/...I'm willing to bet half of those guys haven't actually touched the game, and are just hating it based on what some complainers are saying. It happens a lot these days, unfortunately.

That depends though, if the races can make a working relay or the like eventually, then it would end up better...But the cut off colonies would still suffer badly. If they never beat the Protheans technological prowess to make their own relays, that could screw civilization over due to over/under population in areas, as well as other areas simply not having the resources to rebuild after the attack, which would essentially make it a very slow death for those particular areas of the galaxy.

And how do you know that for sure? It could easily just mean "Yeah, we got DLC coming out. Might not wanna finish ME3 as it is, then delete it all" and not "MORE ENDINGS!!!"

Although considering it's EA we're talking about, more endings would be the easiest method and they'll probably do that...I just wish that the ending made sense when you compare it to the rest of the story in all games overall, it half does but definitely feels like a rush job.

There's no native support for a controller I believe just like ME1 and 2 sadly.
