Sandra Bullock facial is sharp and her cheek is a bit strong. I would say yes and no, it's probably with the hair but I'm sure the hair is not an issue. Anyone can wear wigs.

Your moral allegiance is irrelevant, it's based on your decisions up to that point.
Quote:
In order to achieve peace between the two races, you need to get 5 to 7 points. These points are based on your ME2 and ME3 decisions. If you have 4 points or below, you cannot achieve peace.
-Rewrote the Heretics (0 points)
-Destroyed the Heretics (+2 points)
-Tali is NOT exiled (+2 points)
-Tali has been exiled/You did not do the Loyalty Mission (0 points)
-Resolved Legion/Tali conflict either using the Paragon or Renegade options (+1 point)
-N7 Mission: Save the Admiral on Rannoch in ME3 (+1 point)
-N7 Mission: Destroy Geth Squadron on Rannoch in ME3 (+1 point)
-Completed Legion's Mission in ME3 (or no peace)

Crap. I guess I have to do all the N7 missions, otherwise, I'm screwed mad.gif I've been planning another playthrough of ME2 anyways, so I might go back and change a few things.

I think what you meant to say was, "Bioware writers/artists do NOT have the right to tell the story that they wanted to tell, since Bioware was bought by EA, and EA has the final say over time/budget constraints."
While their is nothing wrong with you supporting management over artists, others simply have different views.
No, that is not what I meant to say. How are you certain that EA had final say over the way the story panned out? I can't be sure that they didn't, but you can't be sure that they did either. I'm not going to search through 2500+ posts of complaining to find an article from a sketchy source that states the writers weren't happy with the ending, or that they chose that ending for time/budget restraints. I couldn't see them writing something they aren't happy with, regardless of how much time they had left or how little was left in the budget for it. As for the statement of them not being happy about it, I could see them saying that. But only because they don't want to taint their public image anymore than it already has been.

The script was leaked a while ago, and based off of what some of these people in the thread are saying, the ending is still the same as it was before. If you know it was the same, why are you complaining about it? I don't understand the thinking methods you guys are using. If you knew what was coming, why are you so upset over it?

While it's not directly stated, it's not a number I'm pulling out of my ass. I can't find the original article but it was mentioned sometime in late Feb. In any case, I wouldn't call the ending "miniscule" in any way. The ending of a story is what can make or break it. I still don't know why people think we're upset about not getting a "happy ending" but for most of us, that's not at all the case. Ending the story using deus ex machina is just sloppy writing. They have the right to tell their story in the way they wish but it' still false advertising. You can kill Wrex, all your squadmates in ME2, save the collector base and still get the same ending as someone who kept everyone alive. How exactly are the choices there having any effect on the ending?

You're right, it's not directly stated. I don't see the number anywhere, so I can't really rely on that. That's just how I feel though.

And technically it is not false advertising. If you killed Wrex, he won't emerge from the Normandy at the end. However, if you save him, he will. Technically your choice did affect the ending, just not in the way everyone anticipated.

And if you guys haven't head of Feedback, check it out. There's an episode where they discuss the ending of Mass Effect, and they go at each others throats as to why they think it sucks or why they think it was fine. Very insightful.

They are pretty decent missions, it's not like there is a life or death time limit on doing them this second, just complete them at your own pace before you assault the final mission.
Also if you want to save some time, masseffect2saves.com has a mess of games that you can grab, and they list all the decisions made so you can pick the one that works with your play choice, and as always use Gibbed's editor to tweak things if you can't quite find one that is close enough to what you want. I did this when my saves got deleted, saved me a few days of replaying me1/2 just to have the proper experience I wanted.

Also may I point out that at the beginning the "Retake" movement was a force of good, donating to charity, peacefully asking bioware to give them the closure that the game lacked (I didn't hate the ending as much as a lot of people, it just didn't feel like an ending, more like we missed the last 10 minutes of a movie for some reason), but it has spiraled down into crap, and I left it. Kicking and screaming that the ending is terrible and you deserve something better, and other the other side of the coin, chastising them for being upset, and stating that Bioware can end it any damn way that they please is completely and utterly irrelevant until the DLC that they stated is coming is out. It might be breath taking and amazing and everyone is happy, or it might make it worse and a riot breaks out, or more splitting down the middle. Kicking up dust and screaming over something that is no longer relevant is retarded. You all have your opinions? Good for you, keep them to yourselves until something new to talk about is around, this month old argument just shows that your childish and clearly need your parents to take away your internet privileges.

Who cares if it was Bioware's fault, or EA's, whats done is done. EA will always screw over the customer, I've known this since Battlefield 2 for the original Xbox, but the publishers under them do their best, and after numerous patches the games tend to be alright.

If you feel the need to talk about it that much go start a blog, nobody will care there either.

I think what would have made the games story line even better would have been a lingering resentment towards Turians by all other races, the reason being that Saren, a Turian, worked very closely with the reapers in the past game (indoctrinated). The argument could be this:

Other alien race: that Turians Saren helped the reapers at one time, I lost alot of loved ones in those battles! Those stupid Turians!

Turian: he was indoctrinated, it can happen to any race!

Other alien race: yeah but Saren helped the reapers the most, because Turians are weak minded and maybe even had a disposition to want to help the reapers, that's why Saren went so far!

Turian: that's not fair to hate all Turians! We've been the victims of attacks by other races because of this false believe.

The storyline should include galaxy wide contempt for Turians, complete with a few missions to help Turians against hate crimes, throughout the game there should be a few incidents that show the contempt for Shephards squadmate.

For the ending sheppard and (sorry his name escapes me at this time ha) Turian squadmate should be super involved in the stopping of the Turians ( the last battle) and the Turians clear thier names as being the ones to take down the reapers! That means sheppard is the ultimate Hero becuase not only does he stop the reapers but he let's his friend take all the credit to clear his peoples name

What ya think : )

Post 2522 has a link discussing penny-arcade forum posts. But if you missed the penny-arcade forum posts confirmed as one of ME3 writers, which was a much larger/more rabid discussion with more facts than here, then it is too late they are all now deleted (not surprisingly). But it was informative, even if possibly jaded since one writers view, but he was at least, well one of the writers, and some of the possible endings he alluded to sounded much better.

My only point was you stated BIOWARE artists/writers had the right to end it however they want...and at least one of the writers disagrees with you.

I actually took a leap of faith and bought it, in hopes that BW will fix all of this nonsense.

So far so good, though, first thing I thought: "What the BLOODY HELL did they do to my beautiful Normandy??? It looks like rubbish!!!" mad.gif

Gz you will enjoy it the story does hold up and the gameplay is excellent as always. Tho I bet you will hate the ending either way now even if you were going to enjoy it because of all the bad press about it.
Anyways enjoy thumb.gif

No. That's like hating all Germans because of Hitler. Besides, there's already lots of inter-species distrust issues. That's why Shepard bringing them all together is such a big deal. Also, the turians have been on the council a long time and are like the military backbone of the council.
