Well I'm sure a lot of people also invested in all of them. I've played ME2 three times and each time I went through all of them and mixed up the squad selection on different missions it gave me different conversations between characters depending on which two I bought in.

Me too. I was greatly connected to each character after investing time in all of them.

So this the whole the squad?
Garrus, Liara, Ashley or Kaiden, James Vega, Tali.

I think that is a good squad but you know because what I said above, ME has all these great characters that I developed a relationship with its hard to leave out even one for me.

Same here I think we all want to see a fitting conclusion of this trilogy but at the same time I have been a bit anxious with some of what I see and read.

Its no secret they are aiming to attract a wider audience which Bioware have been openly saying themselves with Kinect, MP, emphasis on omni blade being "cool". Its fine to get more people into a great series you just hope it doesn't become only action. Some people didn't like ME2 for the changes it had from ME1 but I thought whilst it was different and I did miss those things it still had just the right balance imo. ME3 seems to be blending both ME2 and ME1. Bringing back things from ME1 that was missing and building on the combat from ME2.

What is that?

...Ok this is what I've read

“Action Mode: For those who want to emphasize action and combat and minimize story management. Action mode will set automatic replies in conversation and a normal difficulty.

Story Mode: For those who want to emphasize story immersion and minimize combat pressure. Story mode will set manually-selectable replies in conversation and a minimal combat difficulty.

RPG Mode: For those who want to explore both realms of story and combat. RPG mode will set manually-selectable replies in conversation and a normal combat difficulty.â€

I think I'll be rpg mode

I'd use Story mode and/or RPG mode, likely the latter but it depends on the specifics.

And the large backlash from the community for each affected launch and subsequent drop in sales afterwards to repeal Origin exclusivity for these games is what many of us are hoping for. I would like to point out however, it is not that we are wanting Origin to go away (though most would not mind that), but rather a choice of which distribution platform to purchase it on or even more preferably, the option to use the game without one.

I'll be the first to admit it, gamers will probably nerd rage and give out low reviews for a while, but cave in eventually to purchase the game. Hell just take a look at MW2 and L4D2. Gamers typically lack backbone as games are like crack to us. I fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on which side the line you stand on) do possess a backbone and am willing to buy a physical copy of the game (to support Bioware, since I only got love for them) and then proceed to crack out Origin with whatever patch Razor releases before I play the game.

Damn you EA. I will acknowledge your right to do this, but condemn the hell out of you for doing so.

And that is exactly what I meant! Our love for games, especially certain types of games, will cause us to make a lot of concessions on our end (hardware upgrades, the bitter deduction of core PC features, lack of innovation, and higher prices just to list a few) and still concede our ground inch by inch. Some people will go with change and others will resist however futile in the long run against corporate greed. Now that I think about it, it is quite depressing...

We are a dying breed.

I was mad about MW2's whole lack of servers, but so many other people were also mad about it that Sacktivision knows not to do that again. EA thinks that Origin will become a viable alternative to Steam, and they are trying to get a lot of people to use it by making it mandatory.
