Do NOT buy the Corsair 1200AX PSU - Page 17

I've also ordered one from Amazon. But since i live in Mongolia if anything like this happens to me RMA would be very problematic and expensive.
I'm paying almost 400US to get my hands on this and expecting it to be the BEST. I always thought Corsair was one of the most reliable brands out there.
I'm really hoping mine would be alright.

rszanto please report back.

Third unit is working properly with one GTX 470 and one Core i7 980x stock (evga classified motherboard). So far no noises, I will put in my other cards shortly once I get some more time.

Excellent!

Again, we apologize for the problems you had. It would be easy to simply blame it on growing pains for a completely new product line but, we don't like making excuses.

Anyone in this thread, if you have issues or see others with issues, please let me know or direct them to me.

Thanks.

Just realized.. About the sticker upside-down thingy.... Didn't they do that on purpose, so the sticker would point the right way up in cases where the PSU was flipped the other way? My HX620 has one sticker up-side down too, so did my TX650. I haven't had a look at my HX750, since it's mounted vertically and I can't see it unless I take the whole PSU out of the case. Won't bother to do that right now.

Not sure why you'd get EVGA's PSU when the Antec TPQ 1200 OC is $70 cheaper and is the same thing.

No, fan faces down so sticker needs to be facing down. In my case my fan was down but sticker up, only 1/3 units came like that.

Those units sound like a hair dryer after 10 minutes of load. That includes Evga's version and Antec's version.
