I used that once until it blew my Evga Classfied 8 pin sockets because I had the previous old revision that wasnt usable with it XD

I am still trying to figure out why someone needs 1200 watts. I know I have a 1000 watt and that is way overkill IMHO.

First thing that pops in my mind with a 1200watt PSU would be a Tri/Quad GPU setup and a high CPU/GPU overclock.

I know I need a 1000watt PSU...especially since my fans alone go up to ~200watts

Hello all
New to this site - found it through researching the ax1200
Looking to build my first pc, two 480's, rmpgae III, 980x,
Wanted a supply with some spare power,.Good reviews of the ax 1200, but seem to be very different from user experiences

Was going to purhase next week, now totally confused as to what to get instead. Think I will steer clear of the ax1200, unless i hear of lots of people with v good experiences but i guess if your happy your not likely to post.

I will join with bad experience for my AX 1200, loud fan noise and coilwhine,
so waiting to get a return label, very disappointed with new PSU.

take a look at my sig rig.
1kw wasn't enough to run all that with rock solid stability. and the reason i havnt gone for the silverstone 1.5Kw is that i dont like the power spread it has.

corsair really is dropping the ball on their quality control.

the funny part is that corsair is known for their quality
