Interesting. What are you going to do if the new unit is good? (like use the unit, sell it, or review it?)
I can only hope that they fix this. Its rather disappointing to see corsair's products not being as reliable or as good quality as they used to be.

Well if my new unit is working properly I'll use it, but for any future purchase of Corsair product I'll be very hesitant.

I can't go into detail but it's not a defective component per se. If it was, we would advise you to not use the unit.
