Oblivions great I am at level 30 and haven't finished main quests. I think I have done around 28 quests all together and my Heavy Armor and Alcemy are maxed 105 leveling up Light Armor and Magic now. I love to walk around and explore, the quests go along with the great scenery.

I've got a problem with my interior shadows: they look like crap. They're all pixelated around the edges and look distorted across characters' faces. Outdoor shadows look alright, but can still get pixelated around the edges.
I'm running the game at 1024x768, 4x AA, Medium Textures, Bloom Lighting, doesn't matter what level of shadow filtering I use, they all look the same.
Weird, the shadows looked better on my x1650pro AGP.

Anyone got a suggestion on a possible resolution?

Any chance of a screenshot to see how it looks?

iShadowMapResolution=1024 - This variable determines the resolution of the shadow maps. By lowering this value (always using a multiple of 8), you can gain significant FPS in areas with dynamic shadows in return for much 'rougher' looking shadows. For example, try a value of 128 to see the performance and image quality impact.
I personally suggest changing it to 2048 or 4096. 2048 for performance, and 4096 for quality.

sweet.
I'd post a screenshot, but for some reason, even with the correct *.ini line added I can't take one.

Not for screenshots...

Where can I get a good program for in-game screenshots? I'm sick of using converters. I don't want to pay $37...
I have a thread here: http://www.overclock.net/other-softw...ogram-jpg.html

Bah, that explains it! When I first installed Oblivion, I supertweaked my ini file for max performance and set the value to 128. I ended up turning off shadows altogether and didn't notice until now... derr

Thnx tho
