A lot of stuff...

For example, yesterday I duct taped a water balloon to the ceiling above my front door, put an easy button in front of the door stopper, and wired up the easy button to the laser so it temporarily turns it on. I then taped the laser to a tripod and pointed it at the water balloon, walked into the other room, and told my friend to come into the house. He opened the door which activated the easy button and turned on the laser pointed at the black water balloon on his ceiling... Both he and his iPhone got soaked (he wasn't happy either), but it was absolutely hilarious!

Thank you for reading. You could probably see what I had to go through... but luckily most of the worst posts were deleted by moderators. Thank you very much for the rep.

Approximately $2 and 1 less pixel on a laser projector . I try to conserve every last dollar I can... even though it may not appear so from this build lol.

But then I won't have the fastest internet speed on OCN anymore

Although in all seriousness, I know ISP's lie about their speeds, but due to legal issues I'd rather not give specific details... Normally I would be happy to, but I am a minor (15) and don't want to risk being blamed for any internet related problems...

Anyways, if you want to make it even more overkill fast, you might want to eventually upgrade to Crucial C300's or something 6Gbps. Just my two cents.

Oh and good luck with the electricity bill
Thank you, and welcome to OCN!

The fastest RAID controllers are currently saturated at around 2GB/s, so unfortunately faster drives don't help increase the speed very much.

Great build! Read all 113pages of this during a boring day at the office, much entertainment. Can't wait to see this thing completed. Too bad about all the haters though, you should re-name this build "Haters Made Me Famous"

Not trying to be mean IcyPimpHand, but I've answered this many times before - just search the thread. As citra said, I am required to edit 2-3 6k video streams at a time for my school's production studio. Considering an i7 920 based computer can barely handle uncompressed 1080p, and 2-3 6k streams require over 30 times the amount of processing power to edit as 1080p does, I would have to disagree that this would be overkill. Thank you for the compliment though.

I apologize for the confusion. I have updated the first post and eliminated any remains of the previous build. Basically I had started it, but halfway through Intel and EVGA agreed to sponsor me, and almost everything changed as they were willing to send me some of their products. This build is not done yet, as I do not quite have all the components yet, but I am very close to being finished.

I also wanted to say that I now have everything that is necessary to complete this build (minus the sub-zero cooling systems) so I was thinking about doing a live stream of putting the rig together either tonight or tomorrow morning. Would anyone be interested in this?
