Thats just insane! Idk though, I have Adobe CS5 masters collection, and I do 720p~1080p video editing with my laptop.... Obviously its not the BEST but it works... so I would love to see how it runs on that 5,000+ rig you got there.

I'm quite sure workstation cards have more precise AA algorithms and stuff. They aren't meant to render fast, just accurately.

Edit: Also, I would have gone for an SR-2 build with dual Xeons.

and akrEAGLE do a speed test at this site www.ispgeeks.com. Much better results than speedtest.net as you can get browser cacheing that gives false readings of D/L Speeds.

YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO SEE THAT! no jk

Those are mainly pics of the phase change cooler that got destroyed during shipping, but I managed to fix it. Those pics weren't going to be for this thread though, the ones on the RAM/mobo/cpu are because people didn't believe me that I bought i7 980x/R3E/24GB of ram (in a different thread)

I am actually editing 3 streams of 6k video on this rig

6k video = 6x 1080p

Its the equivalent of editing 18 1080p or 32 720p clips at the same time

I gave many long reasons why the SR-2 wouldn't be beneficial throughout this thread, just do a search. It's just that I've typed the same thing like 15 times.

Also you can flash Quadro Bios/firmware on to the GTX 480 with a hack
