Well I'm just confused...it seems like its going somewhere and then it all stops. I just feel like you keep buying new parts or think about upgrading new parts before actually putting together a fully functional computer, then you start over. I'm just honestly thoroughly confused.

use PTFE tape on the threads and silicone on the O rings, its provides a protective coat and ensures your rig will be changed/rebuilt long before the rubbers break down

You deny giving any pictures. Constantly. Throughout the entire thread. 120+ pages, and you deny pictures.

Either an act of great immaturity, or because you can not show any proof whatsoever. This disgusts me.

You should've used the good old Stacker STC-T01 and modded to fit the tubing.
You can get 18 HDDs in it without modding though you'll have to remove the Power button and such.
But it's not considered modding since it's made so you can remove it and move it to any other 5.25 slot that is available.

I would love to be proven wrong, I just don't see it happening in thus thread...

So... what do you guys want? Me to post more pics? If so, of what? I'd be happy to something like that for you as long as you don't negatively assume. (E-Peen is doing a better job of this than you whipple lol).

You also have to remember: I didn't make this thread for me, I made it for you. I am donating my OWN time here on OCN to post something I think you guys might like. This is still my thread, its 2:45AM, and you should at least appreciate that I am here to answer your questions.

As I said before, your definition of a functioning and usable computer is completely different from mine. I don't care if it's in a case, benching setup, whatever... as long as it gets the job done I'm happy. I've already been using the rig in the benching setup I posted a few hours ago for weeks. I mean, my CPU's are only at 4.2Ghz right now, but it's not bad at all for a temporary setup. I eventually plan to put it in a case once all of the components and cooling system arrive. I've also been extremely busy this past year so I haven't had very much time for my "fun" oriented tech projects.

Wow... I didn't know that silicone would last. Thanks again for the advice!

Yes. However the 3 10k RPM HDD's will be going into an external NAS, So only 6 standard HDD's will need to be placed in the case.
