Weren't you just trolling some other kid a few hours ago about the LEDs in his computer? What is your deal?

The more I read about members asking of this guy's financial status, the less interested I am to keep reading. I thought we were on here to talk computers, not ways to avoid the recession.

No I wasn't trolling then or now, just saying that he said he got the money through a patent to make touch screens fly.

His build? IS FREAKING AWESOME.

I just don't believe what he said about how he got it and think that brings his credibility in to question. At least in my mind.

But regardless nice build kid, that is one amazing computer. Although I would have picked a different case if you are spending 15k lol.

It is basically trolling. And he showed proof somewhere in the thread and then I think it was removed + streamed videos of himself making the rig.

But at the OP, what happened with the build? no updates?

I wasn't denying if he got the computer but just how he got it.

I'm thinking rich kid. lol

This was already discussed like 30-40 pages back, drop it.

Thread Starter

First of all I wanted to say sorry for not posting earlier, I made a post replying to everyone's comments about 4 days ago, but windows decided that it was time for an update and restarted my computer, deleting the message I was about to post. lol.

Fantastic build man!
Thanks! To clear up the confusion I'm pretty much certain that I'm going dual 6-core xeons / SR-2 and sticking with phase change for the CPU, while possibly going chilled water cooling on the GPU's. That's also a great case but the performance just wouldn't be the same as a dedicated phase cooler, and IMO the Corsair 800D looks a lot nicer.

Quick question, where did you get the phase change cooler? Is it a commercially/publically available unit or is it a custom made one?
This one is custom made. If I go with chilled water cooling for the GTX 480's I think I'm going to build one myself though

As Jelah and ninjaburrito said, I already had 3 live streams of building this rig AND a pic of my patent. These topics have been previously discussed multiple times.

PS. It may be worth 15k, but just to let you know I didn't spend anywhere near that amount. Also I had said that I afforded this build primarily through winning the science fair, not from patents. I completely understand that you may have missed some of my posts that provided proof since this is a very long thread, but from now on please keep your opinion about someone else to yourself unless you are 100% sure it is true.

And to ninjaburrito, It's taking a while since I'm kind of waiting on Intel to give me the dual Xeon CPU's. They told me that they wanted me to do a review of their DX58SO i7 motherboard first before they would hand over two hexacore engineering sample Xeons. I recently finished doing that review so it shouldn't be long before I get building again! If you're interested here's the video:

Good job on the review Just one suggestion, you should push it to the max with your phase and post the results in a second video, I think a lot of people would be interested to see what the wall is on it if they are thinking about buying it
