Still wondering if Mountain Mods in the right way to go, not too sure thinking the Pinnacle 24 might be that bit too big, even though its a decent price comes with 7 fans, fan guards and such as well as a HDD rack and a custom HDD rack on which 2 Laing pumps can be put on top of
its a 120mm +240mm body = 360mm
Why not the U2UFO, you could still fit a couple to good 240mm rads and some more water cooling gear.

I don't have enough time, and patience, for this. And all my temps are delta 2, so ''wire management'' doesn't affect performance in my case. But, like everyone else, I like looking at pictures of neat cases and crazy sleeving jobs. And I totally admire those who have the patience and talent to do it.

But with 2 business, and alot of employes to manage, I prefer gaming when I have one of my rare and too short spare ''free time'', or ... ''playing'' with the wife (my avatar...). She also ''needs a little attention'' too.
No worries mate , some just do a good job of hiding the wiring out of sight. I know, wire-management and sleeving is a long, tedious, and arduous task but its doable w/ just some minor skills, not much to be honest. I did it between school terms, took me a whole month doing at a slow pace and as it was mentioned, MM really has no design detail to tackle that. When the time comes, just try it. I still found it somewhat fun and challenging. Oh and I would also know about the misses and the little one's, they come first

I prefer the standard case look, it needs to be tall and thin, not really into the cube designs and all that but the Plateau is another model that i like. Not sure if i should get it, ah i hate these kind of decisions do i? dont i?....

I know what you mean , how about the monticle? use the "build your own" tool and play around w/ it to see what you like

Thread Starter
Monticle and Plateau are too small with similar cost of a pinnacle. eh it is really only your decision.

Those have so little cable managment that its actually negative. Youll have to pull your cables out of the case in order to fit everything inside.

the Plateau and Monticle are the SAME case, they are just laid different as i spoke to Mountain Mods about it and they said that the cases are the same except that the Monticle is standing like a tower case but they have the same innards and such

The Pinnacle doesnt seem to have that great cable management either, seems like ALOT of work to get the cable management to look nice and not many project logs i have seen with them have had any real cable management and even less have had the cable management look good

Its typical for all their models, I use these little cable tie anchors, very inexpensive and you get 100. they use a stick foam, and they can be remove w/ a little heat. they have helped alot.

Cool, no rush or anything like that, just wondering how many wires they can handle.

Here is what I got at ocn atm, ill check my backup drive later. as you can see, it takes a bit trial and error to position them or the bundle or wires, if its a whole bunch or thick, will loosen it. good thing i gots 100 of them, since my rig has not been finished, I will redo the ones that are no good or need replacement, some have lost their sticky due to the several times I took the harness' apart.
