@supershanks

I read this in another thread here at OCN, Asus Rampage 3 Formula First Look

I wont be posting a full review (even though one has been written) but the board is very average and beaten in most tests by the P6X58-E, so its probably a good idea its not getting a full release
Now this was bit of a disappointment, any comments about it supershanks.

its common to see in bench tests the slight difference between mid and high range boards.the main difference seems to be looks.

like when the maximus kept getting beat by the p5q deluxe.

My disappointment was not about the performance but more that it don´t going to be a EU release.

From an Aesthetic point of view, the extreme is far more evolved in its presentation and charm . The shiny ASUS logo on the south bridge is making me cringe.

Thanks for the post, any idea how much this baby costs?
In US about $100 less than RIIIE. Yes looks wise I still think the crishair IV had it.

Yes seems that in UK & some EU countries price is going to be too close to RIIIE. Dave spoke to Asus Monday about it . It is dissapoimting though.if you look on Asus FTP in the RIIIFormula folder the only manual is in German so go figure
