Thanx for the heads up T&B , but I only got the F8 menu ONLY the first time that something screwed up, I haven't gotten that far since...

Nada Selecto...now, when I remove the bios jumper and try a bios recovery...all drives (optical and SATA) power up and then there's nothing, it doesn't even try to access the floppy drive.

If I put the jumper back in to normal OR maintanance and power up, absolutely nothing happens as well...

People, I am getting to desperate over here : . Just sending my mobo back to the reseller will cost me at least $200, so I have to be careful on which components to send back for repair. All advice short of VooDoo is more than welcome.

the one thing a lot of people overlook is simply disassembling and reassembling. Contacts in the cpu socket can easily cause this. So can an ill-seated heat sink. Don't be fooled by the fact that it ran for a bit so must be a more serious condition.

I hope it's a simple solution for you
