I installed windows then upgraded to sp2. my windows disc is an old school pre service pack 1 disc.
then I installed chipset drivers
then video drivers
then sound drivers
I have also tried it where I had windows installed and chipset drivers and sound drivers and installed dscaler before video drivers.
both ways seem to work for until I restart my computer.
currently, wintv2000 works and doesn't say anything about not having overlay, but dscaler does and it won't start. I did have the same problem w/ video overlay before when I had my ati card you can see my thread here:
that's why I say I believe the problem has something to do w/ the nvidia drivers and nvkeystone. Can anyone tell me more about nvkeystone? when I install the video drivers sometimes I can access nvkeystone and sometimes I can't.
