Aprraisal: 3 month old P5WD2-Premium

Recently I have been thinking about the P5WD2-E-Premium, which was out of stock when I was building my current system. Now that it is in stock, and it seems very, very likely that Conroe will be supported by that board based on news that has come out recently, upgrading is something I will be putting serious thought into.

However, my current board is only 3 months old, and there is no way I could afford to purchase another board unless I sold my current one. The wife isn;t even happy about doing that, but at least it's feasible. Should have seen the look on her face when I mentioned this.

"You want to sell the board in the new computer?

- "Yes. To get the E version."

"The board we just bought?"

"Yes......"

This board is selling on Newegg for about $195 new last I looked, and they do also show a refurb for $144. But I am wondering what I could get for mine since it's basically new. I still have the box in flawless condition, all the cables and add-on extras that it came with and they are all still wraped except for the SATA cables, but I could put the new ones from the new board I purchase in there too.

So what do you guys think?

Id say its worth more than the refurb version because you selling it to other forum members knowing it definately works id appraise it at around 160-165ish give or take 5-10$ USD

^Agreed^ It means something that a reputable member has given his word that the board is in excellent condition.

Your conversation sounds just like mine with my wife. I tell her that at least I stay at home and am not out with my "Single" friends

Thanks guys, I'll leave this thread open until this weekend, just to see if there are any other opinions. I was hoping for $160 so I guess I wasn't too far off base.

Maybe I'll post it for sale this weekend too

And my wife doesn't have to worry, I don't like to go out of the house that often anyway.
