My friend just recently bought this card! It was a cheap replacement for a x300se

Is this card any good??Any known problems?? It performed surprisingly well in BF2 in medium settings..Keep in mind he does have a gig of ram??

Thoughts comments and concerns?

as a replacement yes, it is very good, DDR2 memory, 4 pixel pipelines as the card he had but this card also has shader model 3 support from NVidia, now it all depends on how much he paid for it.....

probably a bit high. You could get a 6600gt 128 for that much, or a plain 6600 256 for ~80. (Keep in mind I know nothing of ATI cards )

the 6600 would have been a much better choice. The 7300GS is a weak card with some new technology. $100 is to much for it.

Its suffering greatly with tis 64bit ram!!! A 6600gt would probably out perform it in most situations... $110 was too much for that card!

A 6600GT would blow that thing away.

For $107.99, an X800GTO would've been a much better choice or a 6600 GT.........and yes TurboCache is like having an onboard video but the video is limited to its own memory wich will/could eventually end up using the physical memory and may cripple your system a little bit during heavy tasks.
