Ahh.. The legendary "LOLZ N1NTENDO IS A KIDS CONSOLES LAWL". Lets get this straight. I am not a kid. I enjoy Nintendo consoles more than other consoles. My friend's dad has a DS he bought and plays it at work. Why not a PSP? Because he would rather play Mario games than what the PSP has to offer. And he's in his 50's so its not like he particularly "grew up" with Mario. People just need to get used to the fact that Nintendo isnt kiddy. I dont know why you get the impression because people of all ages play ALL consoles. So ya know what.. Xbox and Sony must be kid consoles too. I mean look at it.. They have little kids playing it. Oh wait crap they have teens and adults playing it to.. O wait Nintendo does to! Beh.
And NeueZiel, as I have linked to this before.. Bump mapping http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bump_mapping
It can add alot more detail to a object without increasing polygons and not creating that much more of a load on the GPU. Given it likely wont beat some games on the PS3 and Xbox 360 its not going to be horrible either. And ATI has said that the graphics on the Revolution cannot be compared to that of the Xbox 360 or PS3 because its just plainly impossible. no reason behind it. So this can be taken as many things. But make judgements like that after a console has been released. Like with the Xbox 360 I even thought it would blow a PC out of the water, but then I saw screens and well.. No. Not really. Just hype. Not saying it has bad graphics or anything, just the majority of the games arnt anything a 7800GT couldnt do.
