I have seen this before, only on a different site. And I've seen it using smaller, and BIGGER setups than this. IMO, it's total overkill. What these people are doing this for is to reduce noise levels, and solve overheating issues (that is, all of the people I have seen do it). What about performance? I haven't seen any articles about overclocking these GPUs(if at all possible), which I don't think would help you too much except for load times maybe? Maybe a little FPS boost? If you're worried about reducing the noise level, turn up your Dolby Surround, can't beat that wonderful 5.1/7.1 sound, heh. As for overheating issues, I've talked to people with this problem face to face. You're solution, stop putting your consoles underneath your DVD players, CD players, etc. Let her breath! That was more of a general statement because I know some of these Xbox360s are actually overheating and it isn't a user error but, from the info people at my school have been telling me, it seems like they want to do one of the above, suffocate their beloved console. So, to wrap things up, I think it would be a big waste of money and effort for this but, I suppose if you love your console this much, go ahead and splurge.

I'll stick to my computer. I played COD2 yesterday on a 50" plasma...and I must say...most games look better than that on my computer...
