err ^bump?

I think im going to get the ASUS. I heard alot of good things about them.
My new computer case has IEEE 1394a firewire in the front. Even if my new motherboard doesnt have a firwire onnector in the back like the ASUS you showed me can I still connect the front firewire cable to the motherboard and use the front firewire for a firewire device?????? Please find me a good mobo with firewire/sata 3.0/x2 support that can support G.Skill ram since its one of the cheapest with good performance ????

^Bump Need this question answered and does G.Skill ram work with mobo?
Also does having no firweire connector in back of mobo is bad? Can i still use my motherboard's header to plug in the front firewire or I need a mobo that has firewire in the back so it has a firewire header so I can use front firewire headers???

I think I may have answered it myself. I have an MSI motherboard myself. I find it really good and I probably will buy another MSI motherboard. I think I will go with the MSI K8N NEO4 PLATINUM it has SATA II/IEEE 1394A/X2 support and more. Also the MSI site I think its updated since the old NEO4 PLATINUM didnt have these features. The site states the ram it supports. I went with the 1gbx2 OCZ EL DDR400 PC3200 Kit. It says its supported and certified. I think the parts in my wishlist now are all compatible and are ready for buying and building?

You have a great system going for you, and everthing is compatable. Why the need for all the bumps?

I don't have anything on my home computer right now. I'm hit and miss on the weekends, more accessible on weekdays, cuz I'm at work.

Anyway, you asked about the DVD drive. Looks good to me! Although I don't know how concerned you are about looks, but the DVD you have picked out is black and your floppy drive is beige. so they don't match. I haven't looked at the case you've got picked, but if you want them to match, might want to double check the colors. Just a thought.
