i have some small scraches on my CRT as well

when I can get around to buying some 1500/2000/2500+++ grit sandpaper, in gonna try to remove the scraches
I do a circular motion, right? sorta like lapping?

if you can lap dull metal to mirror shiny, you can remoe a small scrach

no the guy with the 3 computers and one monitor usually its the other way around lol 1 computer and 2 monitors. oh i cant unplug my monitor! jeez whats the world coming to. oh BTW there are like 10 computer stores around my house and they all sell used CRTs so I'm sure you could get one and usually when glass is scratched it stays that way

Thread Starter
Wow, not only are you guys a barrel of wit, you're incredibly helpful, too! It clearly states in my FIRST POST in this thread, "without replacing the whole thing". Go check if you'd like.

If there's anyone who can reply with a useful post, I'll be very appreciative, but to everyone else, please, just go somewhere else.

This will work
and guys lets stop the sillyness although it is funny its not very helpfull
EDIT: however i do agree your not gonna be able to completly fix this but from the sounds of it that doesnt bother you much so try this and see how it work
