Question about motherboards.

Hey guys I am looking for a motherboard that support AthlonXP and maybe athlon64 that have SLi connection or 16x Express connection. I want to upgrade my motherboard but don't have alot in my budget to upgrade CPU, and Video card. Also that support PC3200 XMS DDR.

Looking for some quality and maybe OC capability and a great price range for it. Any linke or any advice as far as models I should look into would be appreciated.

Well if you want Sli or PCIe x16 you will need a athlon 64. So now that you know this we need a budget amount to work with. So if you could give us one that would help alot.

Thanks for your response but I think a Video card, CPU and a month upgrade would be hard to even come by right now. I was looking into transfering all of my stuff to the new motherboard but I guess that leaves me to upgrade to a 6600GT for now since I am buying all this stuff used. The true is it will only have a budget of 160 the most and that is if I get enough PC stuff sold localy.

Theres no point in running sli 6600's. Just buy a 7900gtx and youll get even better performance.

Get the DFI SLI DR Expert, it is very good and OCs great. You need a 64 bit processor to run SLI, here are the X2s, Opterons, Plain 64s, and the FXs. That is all the CPUs that will work, make sure if you get an opteron, it is dual core. For the video cards, get 7900 GTs, or if you don't want to spend that much, get 6800 GTs.
