BF2 running bad on my rig - Page 2

Sounds about right for your system. I have two gigs of ram coming soon, so I hope it makes this difference everyone is talking about. I run bf2 on 1280x1024, maxed out but with textures on medium. Textures is what eats the ram. Putting textures on high causes lag, there is physically too much data for 1gig of ram.

Ok thanks guys...I will look into adding more RAM later when I get the money. The first 10 seconds in BF2 lags pretty much, but after a while the fps smoothes out and I can play the game pretty smoothly at my settings. Any suggetsions on pagefile and AGP Aperture? I have AGP Aperture at 128mb and was debating or not to increase to 256mb.
