My GA-G1975x holding me back?

Check this out, I think I just realized my motherboard isn't up to par (something wrong with mine I assume). I was running my 820 (in my specs below) and I hit a wall around 250-255fsb. I figured it was my CPU since it took a little more Vcore to get it there and with some other tweaks. But I was happy, it was a 700mhz OC and it was stable as I could have ever wanted.

I just got my 930 and installed it. Now I hit the same wall at 255fsb, the 930 required NO other adjustments to hit 254 (3.79ghz). No Vcore, no FSB adj, nothing. Stable as hell too. But just 4 more mhz of FSB, no way.

Trying to run 255fsb, and it won't boot Windows at all. Even with more Vcore, more FSB voltage, etc. It will post and get the the Windows loading screen and right when it should go to the desktoip, just shut off.

Any ideas?

I've upped the VCore, FSB Voltage, VDimm, and the PCI-E voltage. I tried upping the PCI-E from 100 to 105, 110, and 115 and it didn't help either. Thanks though.
