Pentium M overclock problems

Thread Starter
Hi all
I'm trying to oc my laptop its got a 1.6ghz pentium m 725 cpu. I have tried this.....http://www.laptoplogic.com/resources...23a5df216c0709

But it didn't work I was told it didn't work because either my mobo or bios would not accept it.
Is there anything I can do about this eg hacked bios?

cooling is no problem as I have a custom watercooler which I sit my laptop on.

Or does any one have any other suggestions to oc it?

As you will hear from many others here, overclocking a laptop is not suggested because of heat. Second of all how much possible performance can you get. And from the link you supplied, do you want to go through all that trouble to get maybe 100-200mhz. You wont even notice the difference

Do not overclock a laptop - you WILL regret it. If its a dothan core - theres no need - theyre crazy fast anyway
