yeah i can set the cpu frequency manually to any figure

also ran memtest for like 4 hours with voltage from last night still

no crashes and zero errors

good thing on the memtest, I knew it wasnt the ram. now we def know its CPU issues...

Try underclocking the cpu to 2.6ghz then (185fsb) or lower see if it helps.

Then increment the FSB gradually to find the highest it'll go without dying on you randomly.

well i guess it only crashed last night when he was installing windows 2K
but i guess not today at all is there a chance maybe the memory V boost just needed some time to sink in or something i dont know this piece of ......
