9600XT Extreme Overclocking

Thread Starter
Well, the max I could get out of my Sapphire Radeon 9600XT was 580/340(x2). But recently I aquired a Antec Iceberq VGA cooler:

I put this baby on, AND i added a special Zalman 92mm fan with a bracket that allows me to mount it in weird positions inside the case. I put it so it faces the expansion slots, blowing air on the graphics card.

Here are the results:
DEFAULT CLOCKS (500/300x2)

With STOCK cooling and NO Zalman:
Idle: 40C
Load: 60C

With Vantec Iceberq AND Zalman w/AS5:
Idle: 38C
Load:55C

MAX OC: 600/350x2(700)
Idle: 40C
Load: 57C

I will post 3DMARK03 and 05 scores soon

Some more pics of my Sexeh RIG:

I got my 9600XT up to 619 with a VF700CU. Get it a little cooler and you might be able to beat my OC lol.
Very nice!

Nice work, now you should try it with other known overclocking beasts. X800 GT, GTO, or GTO2s would be a good choice.
