In fact my brother in law who lives just about 10 minutes from me just lost everything he owned in the most recent tropical depression. There's so many the past decade I struggle to remember all of their names. Anyway, my thoughts are with you. Just take it one step at a time and in the end it'll turn out to be a blessing. biggrin.gif

Thanks man! I'm home! Pretty much every building in our complex has a tree or several trees laying on the roof, except our building! We were unscathed. I have power, water, and internet. I just hooked the PC back up and will commence folding. There's trees down everywhere, the island I live on is known for being a nature preserve as much as it is a tourist destination. Thousands of trees are down, the tree line is so thin as you drive down the highway, it's surreal.

With that said, I have a lot of work to do. First I have to clear customer's lots and fix damage to those that live in their place full time, then we will fix their rental properties, then their second homes, then we can take on new clients. I have a lot of people calling asking for help but I have to take care of my existing customer base first. It's only fair, and that's what they hired me for, I'm their builder for life! It's nice having such a strong relationship with home owners I have worked for. It actually made evacuating really stress free because they all offered us places to stay for free. I did spend a lot of money on gas, food, shopping, etc. So it was a nice little mandatory vacation, but I need to get back to work.

That's the one benefit of these storms. It actually produced an economic boost, all the work to be done in recovery.

For some reason I'm only getting 33k PPD. Maybe my bonus points are off from being down for a week?

If you shut down while crunching a unit you lose points according to length of delay to re-starting said unit. Wait for it to finish and your PPD should go back to nermal.

Good to hear that your place is still in tact. thumb.gif

Nice work getting it back up and running. Temps are probably OK, but just watch them to make sure it's not throttling.

Going to be down, again. i'm having thermal issues so i'm going to switch out fans and redo my paste. Hopefully a faster fan and better thermal paste will work.
